Read the tape, not the foil

Every card in the 30-name roster scores the same way. Packs pull uniformly. The only risk lever is repeating a ticker in the same lineup.

Same score for every ticker

Points equal that stock's percent move from the 09:30 ET open, times 100. Foil on the card face is cosmetic. It does not multiply.

Duplicates cost you

You can play the same name more than once if you pulled extra copies. Copy 1 is full value. Each extra copy keeps less of a win and loses more on a miss.

Cap both ways

A lineup is clamped at ±2500 so one volatile name cannot turn the session into a lottery ticket.

The live round is lock only. Build the next round anytime. Score follows each stock's percent move from the 09:30 ET open until you lock the card or the 16:00 ET close.

Set the next round whenever you want. Once the 09:30 ET open hits, that lineup is live: no adds, no removes, only lock. Entry is 5,000 SOOD at the start of the round. Your score is that stock's percent move from the official open.

  • Season 1 entry is 5,000 SOOD each round
  • Points equal today's percent change times 100
  • Lock banks the move so far. Unlocked cards take the close.
  • Using the same card twice cuts a win and raises a miss.

Treasury

Payouts scale with the treasury

Weekly rewards are a share of the prize pool, not a fixed amount. If the pool shrinks, payouts shrink with it, so the pool cannot be drained to zero.

Trade fees

50% of every SOOD trade fee feeds the prize pool

When SOOD trades, half of the fee is routed to Friday's prize pool. That cut sits on top of the mint split below. It is not withdrawn as revenue.

Season 1 charges 5,000 SOOD at the start of every round. The whole fee goes to the prize pool.

Secondary royalties

A cut of each resale comes back in, so trading keeps funding the game after the first sale.

Contest tickets

Duel and Cup entry fees go back into the same prize pool. They are not withdrawn.

Claiming a prize

After Friday's close, winners claim SOOD from the weekly prize pool. The payout list is public, so you can check it yourself.

Common questions

Does owning a card give me exposure to the stock?+

No. Cards are collectibles. They give you no ownership, dividend, or price exposure. The share price is only used to score the game, the same way a real match scores fantasy sports.

How do I start?+

Mint one HoodPass on OpenSea. This wallet gets one included pack on HoodShares, even if OpenSea let you mint more than one pass. Extra packs mint on this site for 50,000 SOOD. Then take five cards into Daily Lineup. Each round costs 5,000 SOOD.

Can I pull the same stock five times?+

Yes. Every slot in a pack is a fresh draw from the 30-name roster. Five of the same name can happen. Playing them all in one lineup is usually a bad idea.

When does a round start and end?+

US market hours: 09:30 to 16:00 New York time, weekdays only. The live round cannot be edited, only locked. You can add and remove cards on the next round anytime. No Daily Lineup on weekends or US market holidays.

How is a card scored?+

Points equal that stock's percent move from the official open, times 100. Every ticker scores the same. UP pays on a rise. DOWN pays on a fall. Lock anytime to freeze that percent. If you never lock, you take the 16:00 ET close.

Do rare foils help me win?+

No. Foil is just how the card looks. Repeating the same ticker is what changes the score: extra copies keep less of a win and lose more on a miss.

What does it cost to play, and what do I win?+

A HoodPass is 0.0005 ETH on OpenSea and includes one pack. Extra packs are 50,000 SOOD on HoodShares. Each Daily Lineup round costs 5,000 SOOD from Season 1. After Friday's close, the top ten split a weekly SOOD pool. SOOD lives on Robinhood Chain at 0xe5A8Fe54e0D367DB85Ebb1B9245BE8cB1EfBE7df.

Robinhood Chain, chain ID 4663. Gas is ETH. Any Ethereum wallet works once you add the network.

Where do trade fees go?+

Half of every SOOD trade fee goes to the prize pool. Round entry fees go there in full. ETH from the HoodPass mint splits 60 percent prize, 30 percent buyback and burn, 5 percent development, 5 percent growth.
